Onions are rich in sulfur which is known to help detox your body from toxins, infections and even some cancers. In the case of allergies, onions act as an anti-inflammatory, meaning that one’s allergies can be cured by making onion poultice to help soothe allergy affected areas.

How to make Onion Poultice

1) Chop a yellow onion into small pieces.

2) Scatter the onion pieces inside a long piece of cotton gauze, cheesecloth. Wrap up the sack with rubber bands

3) Crush the onion through the cloth so the juices get soaked into the cotton.

4) Let it sit for ten minutes.

5) Wrap the cloth around your neck, take it off after 10 – 15 minutes
